In a testament to Inola School's commitment to academic excellence, two of our academic teams have received an invitation to compete in the prestigious National Academic Championship (NAC). Inola's eighth grade team was OAAC (Oklahoma Association for Academic Competition) District, Region and Area undefeated Champions, and then State Runner-up. Their impressive 20-1 record and total points was the best in the state in their division. They were also state runner-up in the National Science Bowl Regional tournament.
Members of the Inola High School JV team competed at Nationals last year as eighth graders in Washington DC, having finished first in the NSB (National Science Bowl) tournament, as well as in the New Orleans NAC where they finished third and qualified for the NAC playoffs. Finishing eighth overall earned them a return invitation this year. Additionally, most of this team also competed in the “I Want Answers” tournament held at Rogers State University throughout the fall of 2023 and finished second out of 16 teams.
