Inola Public Schools

According to PSO, power should be restored by approximately 2:00pm today. Until power is restored, all sites are without phone or internet connectivity. Parents who would like to pick their child(ren) up from their school site can do so without the student being counted absent. The school will remain open for those who stay.

The Elementary School and High School are currently without power. We have been in touch with PSO and should be provided an update from them shortly. Once we receive the estimated restoration time, we will determine our next steps.

Inola Middle School and Inola High School had a brief Lockdown drill this afternoon at approximately 3:13pm. No students were in danger and normal school day activities resumed within minutes.

Virtual Learning Day tomorrow, August 26! There is an *optional* virtual academy open from 8:00am - 11:30am at for grades 4K - 4 at the Elementary and grades 5 - 12 at the Middle School.

All JOM school supplies for grades pre-K through 12 will be handed out Monday at the administration building during the same hours as back to school night (4:00 - 7:00).

The Lunch Application Form is now available in the Student Records Portal at ok.wengage.com/inola by selecting "Lunch Room Application" button (shown in the included photo). Unless you have completed it *this month* the application must be filled out for the district to determine free or reduced lunch qualification.

New student enrollment begins this week for grades 4K - 8! The Elementary School and Middle School Offices will be open 9 - 2 Tuesday - Friday for enrollment. Visit www.inola.k12.ok.us for a list of documents you will need to take with you.

Parents: If your child attended Inola last year and you've not already done so, please be sure to fill out the annual online paperwork at ok.wengage.com/inola. All paperwork must be complete by Friday, August 2, for your child to receive their schedule/teacher information during Open House. Email enroll@inola.k12.ok.us if you have questions.

On Sunday, April 28, from 4 pm to 9 pm, Simple Simon's of Inola will be donating 10% of their proceeds to the Academic Team. Come have some pizza and help support the Academic Teams' trip to Nationals in June!

HAPPENING TODAY! We have *two* academic teams teams headed to Nationals in Chicago! Join us for Bingo Night at Calvary Baptist on April 27th to raise the money needed to fund their trip. If you would like to help out but are unable to attend Bingo Night, contact Mrs. Holland at the Middle School.

5th and 8th grade students will be taking their Language Arts State Tests on Tuesday, April 23rd and Wednesday, April 24th. Students need to get a good nights sleep, eat breakfast and arrive at school with their Chromebook charged and bring their charger.
