A BIG shout out to Bella Riggs. As a freshman, she quailed for State in BOTH the 100 m hurdles & the 300 m hurdles. At the State meet on Friday, she placed 13th in the 100 m hurdles & 10th in the 300 m hurdles. she was just shy of making the top 8 in the 300 m hurdles but ran her BEST TIME (PR) breaking the current school record for 9th grade with a time of 49.58. The record was held by Taylor Wing (49.65) from 2010. The future of Inola Track is looking BRIGHT!! Way to go Bella ... keep working!!

Inola Golf is now 4A State Golf Tournament Qualifiers and will be competing next Monday and Tuesday in the State Tournament held at Shangri La! These boys played through every type of Spring weather imaginable today to finish 3rd at Regionals in Poteau on an extremely tough golf course. They are literally on top of the world competing at Wolf Mountain on Cavanal Hill (the biggest hill in the world.)1.5 hour delay, cold, wind, rain and still got it done! Team members from left to right are Sophomore Travis Weast, Sophomore Caleb Helling, Senior Trevor Groff, Sophomore Caden Thompson, Sophomore Aidan Schaefer, and Coaches Tucker Thompson & Evan Schultz. Also want to congratulate Travis Weast for shooting a stellar round of 74 and finishing runner-up (tied for 1st and lost in a playoff). Caden Thompson also finished in the top 10 at 7th place.
