Last night, 10 members competed at the Broken Arrow FFA Speech Contest!
Congratulations to Anna Jo Helling and Rhyan Hadley as they both placed 1st in their Employment Skills rooms. Also, congratulations to Delaney Gibson for placing 4th in the Animal Science division!
We are so proud of the work these kids have put in this year to prepare for speech season. Only one more contest before Regionals!
The Oklahoma Coaches Association released their rosters for the 2024 All-State girls basketball teams with their coaches.
Congratulations to Coach Travis Wheeler for being selected as the Large East Assistant Coach.
Games are scheduled for July 24 at Sapulpa High School.

Leading scorer and All-Stater Jackson Welch signed his official letter of intent to continue his basketball career at Rogers State University.
The two-time MVP of the conference signed on Wednesday, April 10, with family and teammates in attendance.
Inola’s Longhorn basketball team went 23-5 this season making it to Area finals.
Congratulations to Coach Courtney Williamson, Coach Clyde Barkley & Coach Travis Wheeler for being named as Coach of the Year in their respective coaching areas at the OCA Region 3 Meeting!

🏆TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS🏆
Our Longhorn golfers posted a team score of 329 in cold and windy conditions, winning the Vinita Invitational at The Coves on Thursday, April 11. The Longhorns had three top 10 medalists with Caden Thompson winning the tournament, Travis Weast finished in 6th place, and Trevor Groff finishing in 8th place. Team members are Aidan Schaefer, Caden Thompson, Caleb Helling, Trevor Groff, and Travis Weast.

Inola High School Fishing Team was at Grand Lake with Oklahoma High School Fishing. It was a rough, and windy day but both teams managed to bring in a limit of 5 fish.
IHS Track competed at Kellyville on Friday. Despite the larger number of teams, the Longhorns left their mark.

Both Inola Jazz Bands competed at the first Claremore Jazz Festival on Thursday, April 4. Both the High School and Middle School bands had straight “SUPERIOR” performances!

The Lady Horns Golf Team played on Thursday, April 4, in the Nowata Invitational. The Longhorns team finished 7th place out of 18 teams. Taylor Cook had a great round finishing tied overall for 3rd place today shooting her best HS round to date.
