The Cherokee Nation has announced the Summer Nutrition Program for households eligible for Free/Reduced meals. This program provides households with $40 for three months ($120 total) in nutritional food during the summer months when school is not in session. To be eligible, students must be on the free or reduced lunch program. Students DO NOT have to be tribal members. Participation in this program will not affect any other assistance the household may be receiving. As a school district, we have to share free/reduced student data in order to receive benefits. If you would like to opt out of this program please fill out the provided form and return by Friday, February 2, 2024.
